Considerations for Level Standard (1st Day Coverage) include various medical conditions. For instance, individuals with a history of heart attack diagnosed over one year but not exceeding two years may qualify. Those with a pacemaker or defibrillator implant over one year ago, without additional heart or circulatory procedures, are also eligible. Applicants with Parkinson's disease who can perform activities of daily living may be considered. Additionally, individuals diagnosed with a stroke over one year ago but not more than two years may qualify. Hepatitis B or C, angina diagnosed or treated with medication over one year, and cirrhosis of the liver are also conditions to be evaluated for coverage.
Level Standard: Continued
Continuing with conditions considered, applicants with a history of Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) diagnosed over one year ago but less than two may be eligible for coverage. Moreover, individuals with emphysema, provided they haven't required oxygen use or oxygen equipment for breathing assistance within the past year, can be considered. Similarly, those with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) may qualify if they haven't needed oxygen use or oxygen equipment for breathing assistance within the last year. These are essential factors we assess to determine eligibility for coverage.
